feeling like my artwork

with the holidays around the corner, my inspiration is waning; funds are really tight, economy is bad, I feel happy to be able to pull in money at all. Everyday I hear another friend lost a job or another  restaurant has closed, it doesn't seem like a time for celebration. I will check back soon in a less somber time.

Inspiration & Support

I am focusing on getting my work together-
but first I have to work out some kinks with the styling of my work-to be more cohesive. Mk Ultra is the Alias that I reside under. I find the whole conspiracy surrounding MK Ultra to be pecular and inspiring. As I had mentioned in my last entry. It has alot to do with the govt. and mind control, psychedelic drugs, the Manchurian candidate and the cool aid acid test. Im general, just how much information we are in the dark about, ithink ifrightening. I don't think lieing to the masses is any way to gain loyalty and support. I don't liers, they are the worst, and i don't even like to think that my govt isone of the biggest culprits. I have post some  links about it because its really interesting and detailed and i don't want to leave anything out. . . . .

I am definately looking for feedback - anything! Postings, photos, drawings. I'd like to think I'm not the only illustrator out there trying to get their shit together! Critique groups are good for this which will hopefully be in my near future.

Hello and Welcome!

I started this blog as a way to inspire myself and hopefully others with my thoughts, ideas and artwork- and also as a way to promote myself, my work, and share ideas, art and things in general. I encourage others to post comments, stories, artwork and things they find intriguing. I am really fascinated by things I encounter from day to day, and I can promise that my intro will be the driest part. MK Ultra is my publishing name, alter ego, and the backbone of how I become inspired in my work. Project MK Ultra, as some of you my already know, is a code name for a covert governmental experiment in the 1940's . Also referred to as a conspiracy theory, they hoped to develop a drug(s) that could be used for mind control / chemical interrogation and manipulate brain function. More details to come about this, especially the scientist who was involved with this and subsequently led to his death. There is alot of far-fetched extensions of this conspiracy. Nontheless I find a lot of inspiration in the ridiculous and the possiblity that there there is more going on than we are given knowledge of.

I also will be using this space to discuss ideas, things i enjoy, things i find interesting in the world. . . stay tuned
