Time for Some New Work...!
A new study....acrylic on canvas..... I started two nights ago-working with basic forms and bringing some colorful design elements. It still needs some work but it was one out of three I did that night and the only one I liked.

The Have's & The Have Nots....
Ok... I know what you're thinking, but its not that at all. No art posting today, just rant. I wanna know why there are so few people in the world that have passion..WTF!Even if its just for having pets or stamp collecting, come on people! Is this because television has taken over and ruling people's lives? I hope not. It just seems to me that you either habe it or you dont...you can't aquire it if you are already an adult and dont have it. You can cultivate it but more time than not I seem people that have alot of it that dont care to grow it... it truly makes me sad. Its something that I identify with in other people, and I seek out...Its becoming more rare, like morals.....

Sketching at Dr. Sketchy's -The Slipper Room, NYC
Here's a drawing that I did this past weekend, at Dr. Sketchy's at The Slipper Room, on the Lower east Side. These drawing sessions are fun becuase it always involves theatrical models scantily clad in Burlesque and feathers....and almost always seems to include a midget...awesome. Sometimes the departure from the normal nude model is nice because it keeps your imagination cranking and there is more information to draw with costume, as well as the themed contests that they have. I really enjoy going... oh and cheap beer doesn't hurt either...
